DFA Premier League Returns to Dominica for 2026 Season | Dominica News

The 2026 DFA Premier League started on April 24 with five exciting matches. Dublanc FC returns as the defending champions.

Dominica: The Dominica Football Association (DFA) has announced the official start of the 2026 season for the DFA Premier League, with opening matches scheduled to begin on Friday, April 24, 2026. This follows the completion of the 2025 season, which concluded on March 22, 2026, with Dublanc FC as the champions.  

On April 22, 2026, the Dominica Football Association shared that the DFA Premier League is set to return to Dominica on April 24, 2026, for the 2026 season. On the first week of the season, the Football Association has arranged for 5 matches to be played for the first round, with two matches scheduled for Friday and three for Sunday. 

On the 24th of April, Harlem United SC will play Mighty Avengers at the DFA Technical Centre in Roseau, starting at 7 p.m. local time, while Portsmouth Bombers FC and South East FC will play at Benjamin Park in Portsmouth on the same day and at the same time. 

Moreover, the action continues Sunday April 26, 2026, where three matches are scheduled to be played. At 4 p.m., Bath Estate FC will face WE United FC at the DFA Technical Centre and later at 5 p.m., a match will be played between Dublanc FC and Pointe Michel FC at Almond Park in Dublanc.  

To wrap up the day, Mahaut Soca Strikers FC will battle Middleham United FC at the DFA Technical Centre at 6:30 p.m.  

All these matches will be available for live streaming, with the links for each match already shared by the Football Association.  

DFA has posted the match fixtures on its official Facebook page, where fans have taken to the comment section to share their excitement for the league to begin.  

A Facebook user under Maria Daniel wrote, “I am so ready and my team is also ready! Dublanc FC, let’s bring this one home once again.”
