DFA Technical Centre in Stock Farm to Get Upgrades | Dominica News

Dominica’s DFA Technical Centre will get a covered roof, new rooms, VIP section, media center, and upgrades starting June 2026, says President Glen Etienne.

Dominica: The Dominica Football Association (DFA) has announced the DFA Technical Centre is due to receive key structural upgrades this year, which will elevate the centre and enhance the overall experience for the players and supporters. This announcement was made by the President of the Dominica Football Association (DFA), Glen Etienne, following engagements at the recent annual FIFA Congress which took place in Canada late April.

On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, during the Off the Field programme on DBS Radio, President Glen Etienne shared that as the new FIFA cycle is set to begin and as it starts, Dominica will receive additional funding which will go to enhancing the DFA Technical Centre.

During the programme, Glenn highlighted a few areas where the centre will see upgrades, mentioning that the roof of the complex will be covered and that rooms will be added.

“We're going to have this roof of the stock farm complex covered so nobody will be complaining about the rain and the sun. The development will also include an extension of additional rooms, seating arrangements with proper chairs, a modern media centre, a VIP section, and several other major enhancements,” stated the President of DFA.

Glenn further shared that the design phase is complete as well as the contractor consultations, and as if now, the Association is planning to select the contractor who will be undertaking the project.

Moreover, according to the President of the Football Association, the contract will last for one year, with works scheduled to begin as early as June. He explained that football related activities will continue during the one year upgrading period.

“Hopefully, well, I've not had discussion with the consultant recently, but I'm saying we're into May, by early June or so, we should see some of works of starting. So, football will still be going on, but the complete works might take us one year,” Glenn informed.
