Discover Dominica launches “Summer the Nature Island Way” campaign, offering curated itineraries, tours, and packages to boost tourism and attract summer visito
Dominica: The Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) has announced that it has launched a new summer tourism campaign as part of its greater efforts to promote and advance the country’s tourism sector. The travel campaign is called “Summer the Nature Island Way” and is designed to encourage visitors to spend more time in the country by offering a curated list of itineraries, featuring adventure, wellness, culture and nature-based experiences, during their stay.
“Summer the Nature Island Way” was officially launched on Monday, June 15, 2026, and will include a total of eight itineraries that highlight the country’s strengths in diverse tourism experiences. This initiative will be a great opportunity for Dominica to showcase its adventure, culture, and nature attractions and reinforce its position as a premier destination.
According to the Tourism Authority, this seasonal initiative will offer four multi-day vacation packages and four full-day tours. The vacation packages will be centred on family travel, romance, adventure and wellness. Moreover, during the four-day tour, tourists will get to get to explore different communities and attractions in Roseau Valley, Northern Dominica, Calibishie and other key tourism areas in Dominica.
During the launching of the travel programme, Chief Executive Officer of the Discover Dominica Authority, Marva Williams, welcomed visitors to Dominica, stating that the programme is inclusive to everyone.
“This summer we're inviting visitors to experience Dominica through our new ‘Summer the Nature Island Way’ initiative. Whether you're travelling as a family, as a couple, on a wellness retreat or in search of adventure, you'll find experiences designed to help you connect with the very best of the nature island. From rainforest hikes and hidden waterfalls to natural hot springs, fresh local cuisine and marine adventures, Dominica offers countless ways to relax, explore and reconnect with what matters most,” stated the Chief Executive Officer.
