Dominica Electoral Office begins printing new Voter ID cards by constituency as the Voter Confirmation process enters its final stage.
Dominica: The Dominica Electoral Office has announced that the final stage of the ongoing Voter Confirmation process has officially commenced, sharing that the new Voter Identification Cards are now being printed and set to be distributed to voters by constituency.
In the press release dated August 6, 2026, the Electoral Office described the step as one of great importance to the country’s electoral system and informed the citizens that the ID cards will be printed by constituency as part of the Office’s efforts to ensure the distribution process is smooth and efficient.
“The Electoral Office of Dominica is pleased to announce the commencement of the printing of the Voter Identification Cards, marking another significant milestone in the modernization of the country's electoral system,” stated the Electoral Office further adding, “To facilitate an orderly and efficient distribution process, Voter Identification Cards will be printed by constituency.”
The electoral authority noted that as the printing process continues, it will provide updates on when the cards will be available for collection in each constituency, sharing that distribution will be conducted through designated Voter Confirmation Centres across the island. It further encouraged the public to follow official announcements for information on collection dates in their respective constituencies.
