Dominica’s U14 team will compete in the 2026 CFU Challenge Series in Punta Cana from August 16–23, facing Antigua, Cayman Islands and Turks and Caicos.
Dominica: The Dominica Football Association (DFA) has named the national team set to compete in the upcoming regional competition, the 2026 CFU U-14 Boys Challenge Series, with 18 players selected to represent the country. The competition is scheduled to take place in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, commencing from Sunday, August 16 and running for a full week until August 23, 2026.
According to the official groupings, the U-14 Boys team has been placed in Tier II, Group B, alongside Antigua and Barbuda, the Cayman Islands, and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
The DFA shared that team Dominica has four players selected for the forward position, including Jayden Adonis (5), Demario Nelson (11), Joseph Parillon (14), Jaiydan Victor (7); and two who will occupy the goals, including Kethan Bowers (1) and Lebron Letang (12).
Moreover, midfield selection consists of Jedidiah Benjamin (16), Dervann Dupuis (9), Malacki John (3), Tyriq Laudat (10), Reon Pierre-Louis (4), and Quentin Tonge (17).
The Football Association has also named Tafari Baron (15), J’Lon Casimir (18), Jayce Charles (2), Thierry Lauture (6), Cameron Thomas (8), and Riley Toussaint (13), in the defensive lineup.
The Under-14 team will be managed by Doreen Durand, with Phillip Mills serving as the Head Coach and Euclid Bertrand as the Assistant Coach. Team Medic Kaitlyn Larocque, Welfare Officer Annie St. Luce, Physiotherapist Marcus Bredas, Doctor Curtis St. John and Goalkeeping Coach Nathaniel Angol will also accompany the young players to the Dominican Republic.
The DFA has shared this announcement on Facebook, congratulating the 18 players on their selection and wishing the team success ahead of the games. A few citizens have taken to the comment section to also congratulate and wish the young players well, encouraging them to do their best and represent the nation with pride on the upcoming regional games.
