Dominica Netball Association selects 42 players for Training | Dominica News

Dominica Netball Association launches 2026 national training with 42 selected players preparing for regional tournaments.

Dominica: The Dominica Netball Association (DNA) has announced that it will begin its 2026 National training, with the first official session scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026. The Netball Association has selected more than 40 players from across the island to join the training pool.  

The Public Relations Officer for the Dominica Netball Association, Anna-Maria Panthier, disclosed this information during a broadcast briefing where she also announced the selected player’s names to the general public. According to the given list, a total of 42 players will join the training pool. 

Having a mixture of both seasonal and experienced players as well as fresh talents, the 2026 National Training will include players such as Melissa Williams, Kenya John, Omeyan Charles, Khadija Joseph, Anisha Pinard, Gailene Gordon- Seraphine and Celena Langlaise    

Also selected are Tamisha Roberts, Romelsia Philippe, Rochelle Marshall, Jodie Christmas, Alma John-Baptiste, Nisha Remi, Kavrisa John, Kovlin John, Angelina Gilbert, Gianni George, Jerusha Olivaccée, Nyoka James, Beatrice Thomas, Khémaya Phillip, Diana George and Sarah Francis.  

Public Relations Officer Anna-Maria Panthier also mentioned that netballers Kayla Telemaque, Jeanne Serphin, Nanika Peter, Chanel St. Rose, Vernel Thomas, Kemisha Hodge, Delicia Julien, Jharrissia Gage, Kishma Harve and Alianne Toussaint are part of the list. 

On Saturday, the official training will commence at the Windsor Park Forecourt, where each player will undergo intensive training and assessments to gauge their skills and team dynamics. This initiative will prepare the netballers for upcoming regional tournaments.  

The Dominica Netball Association has congratulated the selected players, stating that they are looking forward to having a “productive and progressive” training programme.
