With the country’s participation in the IMEX America 2026, the official representatives travelled all the way from Dominica to Las Vegas from October 13, 2026 to October 15, 2026. IMEX America is the largest trade show of North America and serves as the primary and dominant hub of all the global business events such as meetings, conferences , trade shows and major high - stake deals. It is also known as the biggest MICE- Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions center on the global landscape.
Organized at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center of Las Vegas, Nevada this global event features as a hub for major corporate houses to be together under a single roof and connect in order to execute the high stake deals, partnerships, associations in collaboration with biggest event planners, international suppliers, hotels airlines and tourism market players.
The current time served as the best opportunity for the representatives of Dominica to pitch in for Dominica as the MICE center as it now boasts direct air channels engaging direct, nonstop flights from the US reducing the travel time and increasing efficiency. Second major contributor to the pitch for Dominica to be the MICE Center is the recent accolade the island received by being honoured with “Best Places in the World to Travel” by the National Geographic serving the island as a platter destination for travel, business and stay-cations.
