Contour Airlines will launch twice-weekly nonstop flights between Dominica and Trinidad and Tobago from October 5, boosting regional travel and tourism.
Dominica: The Ministry of Tourism, International Transport and Maritime Initiatives has announced that Dominica has restored direct air service to Trinidad and Tobago, a connection that will not only make Dominica more accessible to both regional and international travellers but also create greater opportunities for tourism in the country.
The announcement was made by the Minister of Tourism, Denise Charles-Pemberton, on July 23, 2026, who shared that the direct services will officially begin from October 5, 2026, with Contour Airlines scheduled to operate twice per week between Douglas-Charles Airport and Piarco International Airport.

Beginning October 5th, 2026, the new twice weekly service will make travel between Trinidad and Dominica more convenient for business travellers, families, and visitors while strengthening the long-standing relationship between our two islands, shared the Tourism Minister.
Denise Charles-Pemberton highlighted the importance of the direct air access, explaining that it will greatly benefit the travellers by offering greater speed, comfort and reliability. Moreover, the new non-stop connection will increase the number of tourists and business opportunities in the country and also strengthens cultural ties.
