Dominica: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Bule and Green Economy has announced job vacancies under sustainability project with positions open for an Agriculture Policy Specialist and an Agro-processing Specialist positions. Applications are now open and will close on May 9, 2026.
On April 22, 2026, Dominica’s Agriculture Ministry and the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) shared a vacancy notice, informing the general public that they are looking for sector specialists in two high level roles aimed at modernising the agricultural sector in the country.
According to the notice, the Ministry and CBD are looking for an agriculture policy specialist and an agro-processing specialist as consultants to provide expert services for the Enhancing Sustainability and Resilience of the Agriculture Sector in the Commonwealth of Dominica Project.
This sustainability project is being led by the Ministry of Agriculture and financed by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) and according to the Ministry, the roles will support the project’s works.
The application deadline has been extended from April 22, 2026, to May 9, 2026, giving interested candidates ample time to submit their applications at www.governmentofdominica/vacancies//.
The Agriculture Ministry has posted the vacancy notice on its official Facebook page, inviting all qualified individuals to send in their applications and help in building a sustainable and resilient agriculture sector in Dominica.
These roles will support the Ministry’s larger goal of transforming Dominica’s agricultural industry into a more sustainable and resilient sector.
