DOMLEC to suspend JUICE portal services for two days, June 23-24, affecting PAUG customers as system upgrades aim to improve efficiency and user experience.
Dominica: The Dominica Electricity Services Limited (DOMLEC) has announced that services to the JUICE portal will be temporarily interrupted for the Pay As You Go (PAUG) customers, with access scheduled to be suspended for a duration of two days, Tuesday, June 23, to Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in order to facilitate system upgrades to the platform.
This announcement was made on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, where the Electricity Services shared a notice of Juice Service Interruption to the general public to relay the message. According to the notice, the JUICE portal will be completely offline on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, disabling access for top-ups and message alerts services for customers and vendors alike.
In the notice, DOMLEC wrote, “During the period, Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th, customers and vendors will not be able to access the JUICE portal for topping up and will also not receive message alerts while the system is being activated.”
DOMLEC has explained that the interruption is necessary as works will be done to upgrade the system and prepare for the new version of the portal to go live. It noted that the upgraded platform will function more efficiently, with the overall customer experience being significantly improved.
“This temporary inconvenience is necessary to facilitate important upgrades to the JUICE platform, which will ultimately provide customers with a more reliable, efficient, and improved service experience,” shared the Electricity Services.
The Services has encouraged customers to ensure that they have topped up their accounts by Monday, June 22, with enough credit to last until Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Moreover, DOMLEC has thanked the customers for their patience and understanding during the coming two days, stating that it remains committed to providing reliable services and improving the quality and accessibility of the same.
