Five young women from across Dominica will compete for the National Miss Wob Dwiyet 2026 title on October 21 at the Massacre Indoor Facility.
Dominica: The National Miss Wob Dwiyet Pageant 2026 is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. It will start at 8:00 pm at the Massacre Indoor Facility, Dominica.
The event, which is organized by the Division of Culture together with the National Cultural Council, honors Dominican heritage through traditional dress, culture, and the values to Creole womanhood.
According to the information shared by the organizers, the 2026 pageant features five young women between the ages of 18 and 30 from across various communities of Dominica. It is being organized under the theme of “Fanm Kwéyòl: Strength. Elegance. Legacy."
The winner of the National Miss Wob Dwiyet Pageant 2026 will succeed ZebadiJah Maxwell, who holds the title currently.
Patrons can book their tickets at EC$60 for bleacher seats and EC$70 for court seats. Viewers outside of Dominica can watch the live show through the Pay Per View livestream via StreamGenius PPV, where physical and online tickets are available through 767 Events.

The 2026 pageant will bring together cultural performance, traditional costume, and personal achievements of the five young Dominican women as they compete for one of the island's prominent cultural titles.
National Miss Wob Dwiyet 2026 Contestants
Addisa Jno Baptiste (South-Western District) - This 25-year-old cultural performer was the 2010 Ti Matador winner and has performed with several Dominican dance groups. She also owns the bereavement wreath company called Forever in the Wreath.
Deniscia Laurent (Petite Soufrière) - Laurent, who is 24-years-old, has been an active member of the Petite Soufrière Cultural Group for over ten years. She was crowned the Mas Jamboree Queen in 2020 and participated in Miss Dominica 2024.
Sonelle Casimir (Portsmouth) - Casimir is a holder of the Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and the Master's Degree from Grambling State University. She is passionate about Dominican culture, including Creole language, dancing, storytelling and Wob Dwiyet.
Samantha Bazil (Wesley) - The 27-year-old holds a degree in Accounting with a minor in Computer Information Systems from Grambling State University where she graduated magna cum laude. She has also contributed to community development with JCI Dominica where she served as the Treasurer for 2025.
Ta-donna Cornelius (Portsmouth) - The psychology student has an interest in the mental and emotional well-being of children and youths. Her areas of interest include dance, poetry, sports and culture.
