Dominica: The Dominica Meteorological Services has issued a three-day weather forecast, indicating that weather conditions in the country are expected to improve from Monday, April 27 to Wednesday, April 29, 2026. With the forecast, the Meteorological Services has also discontinued the flood warning issued for the Eastern and Western communities on the island.

Following the previously issued flood warning on April 26, 2026, which was valid until 6:00 p.m., the Dominica Meteorological Services has provided a three-day forecast update on the areas, sharing that weather conditions are improving. The rainfall activity is expected to decrease; however, citizens, especially those in places where hillsides or rocks are likely to give way, are being advised to continue taking precautions as the soils are still saturated.

There will be low threat on Monday and Tuesday (April 27 and April 28) and no threat for Wednesday April 29, with the weather conditions being partly cloudy to cloudy with a few brief showers. A high surf advisory is also in effect for Monday and Tuesday, alerting swimmers and small boats to be careful and stay out of the water.

According to the forecast, the temperature from Monday through Wednesday will remain consistent, reaching a high of 32°C (90°F) and a low of 23°C (73°F). On Monday winds are expected to blow from the southeast to east-southeast; on Tuesday from the east to east-southeast; and on Wednesday from the southeast to east, with all three days being at 10 to 30 km/h, while sea conditions will range from 1.0 to 2.0 metres (3 to 7 feet).
