In their last game of the season’s finale, the Goodwill Runners faced the Roosevelt Skerrit Bombers for a tough battle to determine the winner. The Goodwill Runners and Roosevelt Skerrit battled, and by the second half, both teams had scored 2 goals, with Brianna Briggs and Nyomie Defoe scoring for the Goodwill runners while Adinah Warrington and Patricia Pierre-Louis scored for the opposing team.
Luck seemed to be on Soca Stricetts’ side until attacker Krystel Elie, scored a late goal, securing the win and championship title for the Goodwill Runners. The match ended with a 3-2 score, resulting in a total of 40 points for the team.
The Belfast Estate Mahut Soca Strikers came second with 38 points, and the Roosevelt Skerrit Bombers Starlights came in third with 37 points.
