Dominica: The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force has announced that seventeen police officers have successfully completed the Police Records Management Information System Training, a major step forward in modernising law enforcement in the country.
The Dominica Police Force held the graduation ceremony for the seventeen trained police officers on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Police Headquarters Conference Room. The ceremony was chaired by the Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Antonia Moses and included the presence of the Chief of Police, Lincoln Corbette and the Deputy Chief of Police, Joeffrey James.
According to the Force, the officers underwent a two-phase intensive training programme where they mastered the “Train the Trainers” module, which transforms the officers from a student to a teacher, and “Administrator” module, enabling the officers from managing the system’s backend.
During the graduation ceremony, the officers were awarded with their certificates of participation. Chief Police Officer spoke a few of words to them, inspiring the officers to use the skills and knowledge they’ve gained to transform the image of the Police Force.

In his address, he highlighted that the timing of this training is key seeing as the world is moving further into the digital age, and the “the new skills are essential for the future effectiveness of the force.”
The Police Force has shared the importance of this training for Dominica, explaining “This training is a significant step forward in our commitment to modernization and digital transformation within the force”
The Dominica Police Force posted the ceremony highlights on Facebook where it has congratulated the officers for completing their training. In their post the Police Force wrote, “Congratulations to all our officers on this impressive milestone!”
