The Minister of Education went on to thank the Government of China for their continued commitment and support, noting that the awards reflect the enduring friendship and mutual between the two Governments.

To the Government of the People’s Republic of China, thank you graciously. This is more than aid; this is more than help; this is more than just a relationship, this is trust! Trust in our youth, trust in our potential, and trust in the friendship between the Commonwealth of Dominica and the People’s Republic of China that continues to grow stronger each day, expressed the Minister of Education.

Ambassador Chu Maoming has encouraged the recipients to make great use of their time abroad to study hard and also learn and embrace the new culture, sharing that China will present vast opportunities for the young scholars.
