The Government of Dominica shared some important updates on the ongoing construction of Sineku Primary School. In their update, the Government informed the citizens that the primary school’s construction is progressing well, with the project currently on its final phase.

According to the Government’s information, the primary school is currently at the stage where exterior finishing, such as tiling, plastering and waterproofing, is taking place.

External works are now in the final stages, with tiling, plastering and waterproofing underway as the project moves closer to completion, reported the Government.

Sineku Primary School forms part of the Government's efforts to construct climate-resilient facilities in Dominica, capable of withstanding Category 5 hurricanes such as Hurricane Maria in 2017. With this aim, the Government of Dominica is currently reconstructing five other schools, including Goodwill Secondary School (GSS), Thibaud Primary School, Calibishie Primary School, Tete Morne Primary School and Bellevue Chopin Primary School.
