Two Dominican Cyclists to Compete at Caribbean Championships | Dominica News

Dominica’s Kohath Baron and Ajani Casimir will compete at the Caribbean Cycling Championships in the Dominican Republic on October 11, 2026.

Ace cyclists Kohath Baron and Ajani Casimir to represent the cycling association and Dominica in the Caribbean Cycling Championship to be held on October 11,2026 in the Dominican Republic.

With the participation of Elite cyclist Kohath Baron and Under - 23 Ajani Casimir in the Caribbean Cycling Championship amongst the participants from other Caribbean nations stabilises the position of Dominica amongst other Caribbean nations. Participating nations in the 140 kilometers road racing track are Dominica, Guyana, Cuba , Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica and Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) being organized in the Dominican Republic by the Caribbean Cycling Union (CCU) in collaboration with the local governing body Dominican Cycling Federation (FEDOCI).

With approvals of sanctioning bodies Pan American Cycling Federation (COPACI) and International Cycling Union (UCI) , the cycling championship got a world-wide recognition stemming a reputation for the Caribbean countries amongst other developed nations of the world. Representing Dominica in the global race are the cyclist Kohath Baron with elite ranking and Ajani Casimir ranked Under - 23 with the titles “Cycling MVP of the Year 2025” and also representing Dominica in the Commonwealth Championship Games in the recent previous year.
