WCMF 2026 Adds Ne-Yo, Maxi Priest to Lineup | Dominica News

Dominica Festivals has added Ne-Yo, Maxi Priest and other regional artists to the 2026 World Creole Music Festival lineup, set for October 23-25.

Dominica: Dominica Festivals has announced several major additions to its artist lineup for the 2026 Dominica World Creole Music Festival (WCMF), with a fresh wave of artists set to join the already diverse mix of local, regional and international performers earlier announced during the launch.

On Monday, August 10, 2026, the Festivals Committee shared the expanded roaster for the annual, three-day Creole Music Festival, disclosing that the American R&B artist, Ne-Yo, will be among the featured performers in this year’s lineup.

“Grammy-winning, chart-defining, generation-shaping - NE-YO is coming to the Nature Isle. The man behind two decades of R&B anthems takes the stage at the World Creole Music Festival 2026; you already know how we do it,” shared the Dominica Festivals.

The committee also disclosed that renowned reggae and R&B artiste, Maxi Priest, and other artists from St. Lucia, including DYP, Imran Nerdy, Tally Boy, Sedale, Shemmy J, Ezra D’Fun Machine, Hollywood HP and Andrew will also perform at the world festival.

Following the announcement, on Wednesday, August 12, the committee once again unveiled more artists to the festival lineup, including two DJs, Osocity and Outkast, as well Kevin Crown who will add more variety and energy to an already impressive roaster of talent.

The 26th Edition of Dominica's World Creole Music Festival (WCMF) is scheduled to take place from October 23rd to October 25th, 2026, at Windsor Park Sports Stadium in Roseau, Dominica.

Dominica Festivals has shared these updates on Facebook where many citizens have taken to the comment section to express that they are pleased with the additional artists and are looking forward to attending the three-day event and seeing their performances.

Being a collaborative effort between the Discover Dominica Authority (DDA), Dominica Festivals and the Government of Dominica through the Ministry of Tourism, International Transport and Maritime Initiatives, the 2026 WCMF was officially launched on July 11, 2026, under the theme Pulsating Rhythms.

Both regular and VIP Tickets are now available for purchase on the official ticketing site, Dominica Festivals.
